Last year, the Mount Isa community came together in an incredible show of support for RizeUp Australia, raising over $30,000 to help victims and survivors of domestic and family violence.
We’re excited to announce that the DD RizeUp Fundraiser Dinner is returning to Mount Isa on Saturday, 27th May 2023, and we’re aiming to match or surpass last year’s phenomenal efforts.
Hosted at the Overlander Hotel from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm AEST, the evening promises great food, drinks, entertainment, live auctions, and raffles, with all profits going directly to RizeUp Australia. Your ticket includes a 2-course dinner and a 4-hour drinks package, but remember that tickets are limited, so don’t wait to secure your spot at this fantastic event.

We’re also calling on local businesses to show their support by donating raffle prizes and auction items. Last year, we saw some fantastic donations, including a signed Cowboys jersey and a round of golf with Scotty Prince. Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by domestic and family violence. Businesses and individuals who make a contribution will receive a certificate of thanks and will be named and recognised on the night by the MC during a presentation, and in comms relating to this event, such as social media, email, and in our event wrap up.
